Sr. Data Engineer

IntePros is partnering with Intentsify, an AI-driven intent intelligence company, to help them hire a Senior Data Engineer to join their growing engineering organization. This role focuses on designing, building, and scaling data pipelines and backend systems that power Intentsify’s core platform, working closely with a Technical Lead and the engineering team.

Responsibilities:

• Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines and backend services
• Develop and support workflow orchestration using Airflow
• Work heavily in Python to process, transform, and validate large data sets
• Contribute to event-driven architectures running on AWS
• Partner closely with the Technical Lead on system design and technical decisions
• Improve data quality, reliability, and performance across the platform
• Write clean, testable, maintainable code and participate in code reviews
• Troubleshoot production issues and contribute to system observability and resiliency

Requirements:

• Senior-Level Experience: Strong background in data engineering with experience owning systems end-to-end
• Python Expertise: Comfortable building production-grade data pipelines and services
• Workflow Orchestration: Hands-on experience with Airflow
• Cloud Architecture: Experience working in AWS, ideally with event-driven systems
• Collaboration: Comfortable partnering with backend engineers, data engineers, and technical leadership
• Experience with dbt for analytics engineering
• Exposure to entity reconciliation, identity resolution, or entity matching at scale
• Background working with large, unstructured, or semi-structured data sources
• Familiarity with modern data quality, observability, or lineage tools
