Credible is a marketplace where users can compare personalized rates and quotes for loans and insurance. They are seeking a VP of Performance Marketing to lead their paid customer acquisition strategy, managing a multi-million dollar budget and optimizing performance across various channels.
Responsibilities:
- Own the full-funnel performance strategy across Google Ads, Bing Ads, Meta, and emerging platforms, ensuring every dollar spent contributes to profitable growth
- Manage and allocate a significant performance marketing budget. You will be responsible for hitting ambitious targets for CAC, ROAS, and volume, providing regular forecasting and performance reporting to leadership
- Continuously optimize campaigns, creative assets, and landing pages to drive maximum conversion and efficiency
- Collaborate with our Business Development team to manage and scale performance-based marketing efforts across our unique media publisher partner network and Credible’s publisher ecosystem
- Establish and refine measurement frameworks. Work with Data Science and Engineering to improve attribution modeling, tracking, and the integration of first-party data into our bidding strategies
- Design and lead a rigorous A/B testing roadmap—testing everything from bidding algorithms and creative hooks to granular audience segmentation
- Partner closely with the Head of Organic and Head of Lifecycle to ensure a seamless customer journey and with General Managers to optimize their conversion funnels
- Build, mentor, and scale a high-performing team of performance marketers, fostering a culture of accountability, technical excellence, and continuous learning
Requirements:
- 10+ years of experience in Performance Marketing/Growth, with at least 5+ years in a leadership role managing high-budget environments
- Deep Subject Matter Expertise: You have a 'hands-on' background in SEM, Paid Social, and Programmatic. You understand the nuances of auction dynamics, algorithm shifts, and privacy-first tracking
- Analytical Rigor: You are comfortable navigating complex datasets. Proficiency with SQL, Tableau, or similar BI tools is a significant plus
- Scaling Track Record: Proven ability to scale monthly spend significantly while maintaining or improving efficiency metrics
- Financial Services or Marketplace Experience: Experience in high-consideration consumer categories (FinTech, Insurance, Real Estate) is highly preferred
- Collaborative Mindset: Experience working within a large media ecosystem or with external publisher partners is a plus
