Senior Network Engineer - Firewall

The role involves designing, implementing, and supporting enterprise network and security solutions, focusing on infrastructure lifecycle management and continuous improvement of technology capabilities.

Responsibilities:

• Designing, implementing, and supporting enterprise network and security solutions
• Focus on infrastructure lifecycle management
• Complex problem resolution
• Change management
• Continuous improvement of technology capabilities to ensure stable, secure, and scalable systems

Requirements:

• 10 years of experience as a network engineer in an enterprise environment
• Proficient with network architecture design focused on Palo Alto Firewalls
• Proficient with network and Palo Alto firewall technologies
• Proficient with Linux and Windows Server
• Proficient in automation scripting languages such as Python, Ansible, Puppet
• Able to configure, build, stage, and deploy Network and Firewall policy and IaC
• Experience with TCP/IP packet analysis and networking protocols
• Knowledge of system security controls
• Knowledge of networking fundamentals (routing, switching, VLANs, SPANs, TCP/IP protocols)
• CISSP, CCSP, or other Security, Cloud, and Information Technology Certifications
