CAI is a global services firm with over 9,000 associates worldwide, specializing in uniting talent and technology. They are seeking a Senior Information Technology Business Analyst to provide strategic input for systems planning activities and lead efforts in gathering, analyzing, and validating business needs.
Responsibilities:
- Act as Project Manager: Plan, coordinate, and conduct projects within area of responsibility, including monitoring scope, quality, budget, and schedule
- Lead collaboration with project sponsors to determine project scope and vision
- Develop User Requirements and Business Case Development through interviews, workshops, questionnaires, surveys, site visits, workflow storyboards, use cases, scenarios, and other methods
- Apply technical expertise and business analysis concepts to identify, evaluate, and define systems scope and objectives while understanding applicable business practices, processes, systems, and industry standards
- Gather, analyze, prepare, and summarize recommendations for approval of business process and procedural documentation, negotiating with stakeholders on the creation of specifications
- Develop and utilize standard templates to accurately and concisely write requirements specifications
- Translate conceptual user requirements into functional requirements comprehensible to developers and project sponsors
- Assist with interpreting user requirements into feasible options and communicate back to business stakeholders
- Provide support and training on new applications, and guide less-experienced Business Systems Analysts
- Act as a liaison between business and Information Technology groups, including Development, QA, Infrastructure, and Security teams, while building and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders
- Perform other related Senior Information Technology Business Analyst job duties as required
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in a related field and six years of relevant experience, OR Master's degree from an accredited college or university in a related field and four years of relevant experience
- Familiarity with event review practices and documentation, lessons learned practices, and configuration management
- Experience with automated test methodologies and IT quality methodologies
- Knowledge of: Information technology best practices relating to project management, quality management, test management, and system development
- Knowledge of: Analytical methods, decision-making models, and change management
- Knowledge of: Business and technical requirements analysis, elicitation, modeling, verification, and methodology development
- Knowledge of: Application development and software development life cycle concepts
- Knowledge of: Core software applications and business process analysis functions in a large organization
- Knowledge of: Understanding of the Happy Path
- Enterprise Data Analytics and Migration of Oracle EBS to OCI
