About this role
KPMG US is seeking a contractor to provide services related to data engineering. The role involves building architectural designs for scalable ETL processes, implementing data models, and leading design review sessions while maintaining technical documentation.
Responsibilities:
- Work with project team and broader team to build the architectural design of scalable and robust extract ETL from on-prem data sources to client AWS Lakehouse
- Design and implement using the client own data modeling tool to transform into resulting data model, also ensure strict data entitlement requirements
- Create and maintain architectural diagrams and technical documentation
- Lead design review sessions with various teams, clearly articulating the design rationale and incorporating feedback for continuous improvement
- Work with development team to guide and oversee the implementation of design according to technical documentations
- Act with integrity, professionalism, and personal responsibility to uphold the firm’s respectful and courteous work environment
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Data Architect, Solutions Architect, or Senior Data Engineer with a strong focus on data pipeline design
- Hand on experience using ALLOY / PURE data modeling tools to design and implement data models and data entitlement
- Good communication skill, can discuss in both business and technical context
