IT Project Manager

General Dynamics Information Technology is a global technology and professional services company supporting the SEC in its mission to protect investors and maintain efficient markets. They are seeking a dynamic Project Manager for the Infrastructure team to oversee project management and ensure successful delivery of IT infrastructure projects.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for the day-to-day management and accountability of the projects assigned
• Supervises all aspects of the development and implementation of assigned projects and is responsible to ensure project is meeting milestones and deliverables
• Defines project scope and objectives
• Develops detailed work plans, schedules, project estimates, resource plans, and status reports
• Conducts project meetings and is responsible for project tracking and analysis
• Presents project status updates to leadership and customers
• Works with cross-functional teams to ensure proper end-user communications on project impacts
• Enters data and maintains accuracy of project dashboards
• Tracks all project risks and issues to closure

Requirements:

• 8 + years of related experience leading and managing IT projects, specializing in IT infrastructure and operations, to include service delivery, IT infrastructure systems, and solution development
• PMP Certification required
• Experience developing resource and milestone driven project plans in MS Project or similar application
• The selected candidate must be a US citizen (without dual citizenship) and able to obtain a Public Trust Suitability clearance, per contract requirements
