Senior Marine Structural Engineer

Woolpert is an award-winning, global leader in architecture, engineering, and geospatial services. They are seeking a highly experienced Senior Marine Structural Engineer to support heavy marine-related initiatives, focusing on cruise and cargo structural engineering, and to contribute to the design and analysis of complex marine infrastructure while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities:

• Manage projects encompassing staffing, scheduling, budgeting, and deliverables
• Lead engineering analysis and design for marine structures
• Develop plans, specifications, and construction documentation
• Develop technical reports and provide senior level review of technical work products
• Prepare and review technical reports and engineering deliverables
• Conduct condition assessments of port and maritime facilities
• Contribute to proposal development including technical approach, scope, and pricing

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
• Professional Engineer (PE) license and NCEES Record
• Eligibility to apply for PE licensure in Florida and New York upon hire
• Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in marine structural engineering
• Strong leadership, technical, and analytical capabilities
• Experience working within multidisciplinary teams
• Proficiency in computer-aided design and engineering software
• Willingness to travel to project sites as needed
• Self-motivated and adaptable in a fast-paced environment
