Peak Performers is partnering with a healthcare organization to find a remote Business Analyst I. The role involves analyzing provider data, identifying trends and errors in large datasets, and ensuring the accuracy of internal systems and provider directories.
Responsibilities:
- Review and process provider-submitted updates within a work-in-progress queue, ensuring accuracy and completeness of information
- Analyze large datasets using Excel to identify trends, detect errors, and recommend data corrections or process improvements
- Audit provider data to maintain the accuracy and integrity of the online provider directory and internal systems
- Research discrepancies and coordinate updates across multiple systems to ensure consistent and reliable provider data
- Communicate findings and recommendations clearly, including occasional written communication with providers regarding data updates
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience
- 1–3 years of experience in business process analysis, data analysis, or a related analytical role
- Strong Excel skills, including Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, and INDEX/MATCH functions
- Demonstrated analytical ability to interpret raw data, perform trend analysis, detect errors, and make recommendations based on findings
- Experience working with large datasets; background in insurance or healthcare environments is a plus
- Exposure to working with data from external systems or databases (SQL experience is helpful but not required)
