First Colony Mortgage is seeking a Retail Marketing Manager to support their loan officers and retail business by developing and executing marketing strategies that enhance brand awareness and generate leads. The role involves collaboration with various teams to deliver marketing campaigns and initiatives that drive business growth and strengthen relationships with partners.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute marketing strategies aligned with retail business objectives, including targeted campaigns and initiatives that drive brand awareness, lead generation, and loan officer growth through referral partners and past clients
- Evolve and manage builder and referral partner marketing programs to jointly promote our business, generate leads, and solidify FCM as a preferred lender
- Support loan officers with marketing tools, resources, and campaigns that help them grow their business and engage their client base
- Stay current on industry trends and market conditions to identify opportunities and continuously optimize marketing efforts
- Oversee retail field marketing activities including seminars, customer appreciation events, sponsorship opportunities, and joint marketing initiatives with partners
- Coordinate logistics, timelines, and materials for field events, ensuring consistent brand execution and a high-quality experience
- Partner with the Corporate Events & Marketing Manager to align field events with broader company initiatives and the corporate events calendar
- Enter, track, and manage all retail marketing requests, campaigns, and deliverables in Asana to ensure timely execution—communicating directly with loan officers and team members via phone, email, or Microsoft Teams to provide updates and gather information outside of Asana
- Collaborate closely with the sales and marketing teams to ensure alignment on campaigns, launches, and key initiatives
- Work cross-functionally with graphics, content, and digital teams to develop materials that support retail campaigns and loan officer needs
- Maintain organized documentation and project records to support visibility, accountability, and team efficiency
- Build and maintain strong relationships with loan officers, builders, realtors, and industry partners
- Develop co-marketing programs and materials that support partner relationships and drive mutual business growth
- Serve as a marketing resource and point of contact for loan officers, helping them navigate tools, campaigns, and brand standards
- Track key performance indicators and analyze campaign effectiveness to drive continuous improvement
- Manage retail marketing budgets, ensuring efficient allocation of resources across campaigns and initiatives
- Report on marketing performance and insights to the Head of Retail Marketing and leadership team
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field
- 3–5 years of experience in field marketing, retail marketing, or a similar role
- Proven track record developing and executing marketing campaigns that drive lead generation and business growth
- Highly organized with strong project management skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
- Excellent communicator and relationship builder—comfortable working with both internal teams and external partners
- Willingness to travel in-state, with occasional national travel
- Proficiency in Asana and Microsoft 365 (Teams, Outlook, SharePoint); experience with marketing automation tools and CRM systems
- Experience in the mortgage or financial services industry
- Background in digital marketing, social media, or content strategy
- Knowledge of sales enablement and loan officer support
- Experience with event planning and field marketing execution
