Senior Infrastructure Engineer

Data Capital Incorporation is seeking a Senior Infrastructure Engineer to manage and operate the physical hardware infrastructure powering their private cloud platform. This role focuses on maintaining production hardware and ensuring system reliability, performance, and scalability across compute, storage, and networking systems.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and operate datacenter hardware including servers, storage, and networking systems
• Perform installation, troubleshooting, firmware upgrades, and lifecycle management
• Monitor infrastructure health and improve system reliability
• Support capacity planning, hardware refresh, and decommissioning
• Troubleshoot hardware issues related to CPU, memory, disks, and network connectivity
• Automate infrastructure operations using tools like Ansible and CI/CD
• Collaborate with SRE, networking, and security teams
• Support incident response and root cause analysis

Requirements:

• 7+ years of infrastructure or datacenter engineering experience
• Strong experience with server, storage, and networking hardware
• Solid Linux troubleshooting skills
• Knowledge of datacenter networking (L2/L3, VLANs)
• Experience with hardware lifecycle management and automation
• Experience with private cloud infrastructure
• Familiarity with tools like OME, OneView, or Intersight
• Knowledge of Redfish or IPMI APIs
• Experience managing large-scale datacenter environments
