Wells Fargo is a financial services company, and they are seeking a Lead Digital Product Manager to drive product strategy and modernization of small-business core banking. This role involves guiding cross-functional teams and managing the end-to-end analysis, data conversion, and process design for banking products.
Responsibilities:
- Own roadmap for small‑business core banking (deposits, servicing, pricing/fees)
- Translate business outcomes into epics, features, and prioritized backlogs
- Lead and mentor Digital PMs, Financial PMs, BSCs, and BAs
- Perform deep functional/non-functional requirements analysis
- Document as‑is core configurations (especially Hogan) and define to‑be designs
- Maintain detailed process flows and system interaction maps
- Lead data conversion strategy and execution (mapping, cleansing, reconciliation, cutover)
- Partner with architecture/engineering on APIs, integration patterns, and data contracts
- Produce configuration workbooks, traceability, conversion rules, and runbooks
- Drive externalization of product/pricing rules and establish governance and versioning
- Ensure scalable, reusable product and pricing configuration models
- Rebuild SME knowledge through playbooks, catalogs, and decision logs
- Embed controls for data quality, auditability, and compliance
- Coordinate with Risk, Compliance, InfoSec, and Audit
- Lead UAT, readiness, cutover, and post‑conversion stabilization
- Manage dependencies across vendors, platform teams, and downstream systems
Requirements:
- Applicants must be authorized to work for ANY employer in the U.S. This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship
- Extensive experience in product management or BSC/BA leadership in financial services
- Hands-on experience with mainframe cores (ideally Hogan)
- Proven delivery in core modernization, data conversion, and process engineering
- Strong requirements, process modeling, and traceability expertise
- Experience with small‑business banking products and pricing
- Large-bank experience with Hogan (Wells Fargo, U.S. Bank, Huntington, PNC, etc.)
- Experience externalizing product/pricing rules into catalog/engine-based models
- Familiarity with API-first architectures and eventing/streaming
- Background in cutovers, parallel runs, and post‑migration stabilization
- Knowledge-management and regulatory/audit experience
