DMI is a leading provider of digital services and technology solutions, headquartered in Tysons Corner, VA. They are seeking a driven and results-oriented IT Project Manager to lead the successful delivery of IT infrastructure and operations initiatives supporting a mission-focused federal environment. This role involves overseeing the full lifecycle of assigned projects, ensuring coordination from planning through execution and delivery.
Responsibilities:
- Lead day-to-day execution and accountability for assigned IT projects
- Define project scope, objectives, deliverables, and success criteria in collaboration with stakeholders
- Develop detailed work plans, schedules, cost estimates, and resource allocations
- Oversee project implementation to ensure milestones and deliverables are achieved
- Facilitate project meetings and drive cross-team collaboration
- Provide clear, data-driven status reporting and executive-level updates
- Identify and manage project risks, issues, and dependencies
- Coordinate across infrastructure, operations, service delivery, and solution teams
- Ensure projects remain aligned with approved objectives and organizational priorities
- Monitor performance metrics and implement corrective actions as needed
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of experience leading and managing IT projects
- Experience supporting IT infrastructure, operations, service delivery, or technical solution development
- Strong understanding of project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, Hybrid)
- Demonstrated experience in project planning, execution, and lifecycle management
- Working knowledge of IT infrastructure and operational environments
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution or equivalent professional experience
- Must successfully complete a Public Trust background investigation and/or obtain a Public Trust clearance
- Must be a U.S. Citizen
- PMP (Project Management Professional) certification
- Experience with both Agile and traditional project delivery approaches
- Proficiency with project management tools (MS Project, Jira, ServiceNow, etc.)
- Familiarity with ITIL and IT service management practices
- Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects in a dynamic environment
