Key Responsibilities

As a Veterinary Technician, you will assist veterinarians with medical procedures while providing compassionate care to patients and exceptional service to clients.

Responsibilities include:

• Assisting veterinarians with examinations, diagnostics, and treatments
• Preparing patients for surgery and monitoring anesthesia
• Performing venipuncture, catheter placement, and laboratory sample collection
• Running in-house diagnostic testing and preparing samples for reference labs
• Administering vaccinations and medications
• Taking and developing digital radiographs
• Monitoring hospitalized patients and maintaining accurate medical records
• Providing client education on preventative care, medications, and post-operative instructions
• Maintaining a clean and organized treatment area and hospital environment
  
  

Qualifications

Ideal candidates will bring both technical skills and a passion for patient care.

Preferred qualifications include:

• Veterinary Technician experience in a clinical setting
• Credentialed Veterinary Technician (LVT, RVT, or CVT) preferred but not required
• Strong knowledge of animal handling and restraint techniques
• Experience with surgical assistance and anesthesia monitoring
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced veterinary hospital
• Passion for compassionate patient care and client education
