Job Description

Position Summary

Safeguard the assets of the company and assist in providing safety to our guests and Team Members. Under general supervision, observe gaming and operational areas using video surveillance systems to ensure laws, policies and procedures are being followed and maintained.

Duties and Responsibilities

1. Adhere to guest service requirement listed above.
2. Adhere to the core value requirement listed above.
3. Adhere to department and property policies and procedures.
4. Operates and maintains electronic surveillance equipment. 
5. Observes and reports any and all gaming violations and/or thefts of Kansas City’s property.
6. Conducts surveillance of areas, guests, and team members to safeguard the assets of the company. 
7. Conducts investigations as directed by the manager of surveillance.    
8. Job tasks must be finished in a timely manner according to department standards.
9. Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications

Required Knowledge and Skills

• Must have successfully completed the Surveillance basic training program.
• Must have excellent telecommunications and report writing skills. 
• Able to accurately type reports, use keypads, keyboards and mouse for long periods of time and operate mechanical controls. 
• Able to view monitors for extended periods of time and be able to discern color.  
• Able to react quickly and accurately under demanding high stress conditions. 
• Be willing to work constantly changing schedules to adjust to fluctuating business demands, this includes all shifts, evenings, weekends and holidays.
