
JOB PURPOSE
Assist in maintaining and repairing physical structures of buildings by performing the following duties.

REQUIREMENTS
• Two-year technical degree or greater, High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred; or one to three months experience or training; or combination of education and experience.
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions and work orders. Ability to write simple correspondence.
• Ability to apply mathematical concepts to practical situations.
• Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form.
• Must posses a current valid driver's license, acceptable MVR, and ability to pass DOT physical and obtain medical card.
• Experience with Microsoft Office suite.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS: The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds, occasionally lift up to 100 pounds and sometimes push/and or move up to 300 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
WORK ENVIRONMENT: While performing the duties of this job, the employee occasionally works near moving mechanical parts and is commonly exposed to airborne particles and gases at low concentrations. The employee is frequently exposed to waste material, feed and hog dust. Overnight travel could be expected; accommodations will be provided.
