Link Solutions is seeking a PKI Service Desk Technician to join our Sierra Vista, AZ.
- Must be a U.S. Citizen
- Secret Clearance required
- Non-remote (relocation incentive available)
The PKI Service Desk Technician will provide technical and system support for the U.S. Army Network Enterprise Technology Command (NETCOM) Center on Fort Huachuca. You will work across many teams and high-level managers in the organization to design, lead, manage, maintain, and track assets, deploy, implement, and support the workforce environment.
In this position, you will provide CAC/PKI and RA/LRA functions related to the creation, revocation, suspension, and issuance of NIPRNET Alternate Smart Card Logon (ASCL), SIPRNET, and Deployed Forces network tokens associated with PKI credentialing for daily operations.

Job Responsibilities:
- Resolve daily PKI and card‑access tickets, including user permissions, SSL certificate requests, and server/application access issues.
- Manage reinstatement, renewal, and maintenance of user privilege accounts.
- Assist with system upgrades and version updates.
- Maintain, support, and troubleshoot PKI systems for infrastructure‑related issues.
- Monitor PKI infrastructure to ensure continuous operational readiness.
- Evaluate certificate types for issues, renewals, revocations, and overall health.
- Provide end‑user assistance for certificate‑related problems.
- Administer the full PKI certificate lifecycle across various applications and solutions.
- Support and process certificate requests, escalating to senior staff when necessary.
- Participate in projects to deploy new PKI applications, tools, and services.
- Implement updates and changes to PKI infrastructure in accordance with change‑control policies and procedures.

- Day Shift
- Sunday - Thursday
- 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM
Qualifications
- U.S. Citizen
- Active Secret Clearance.
- IAT Level II certification or higher per DoD 8570/8140 (e.g., CompTIA Security+ CE, CCNA Security, GICSP, GSEC, SSCP).
- AA degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or a minimum of two (2+) years of relevant experience.
- Current Computing Environment (CE) certification, or the ability to obtain within 90 days of start.
- Experience monitoring and evaluating the performance and security of PKI systems.
- Knowledge of security principles for protecting customer data and PKI environments.
- Experience supporting PKI systems, including certificate errors, access issues, and encryption‑related failures.
Preferred:
- BA/BS degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field with a comprehensive understanding of computer science concepts.
- IAT Level III Certification equivalent or higher per DoD 8570/DoD 8140 (CASP+, CCNP Security, CISA, CISSP, GCED, GCIH, etc.).
- Experience working in a Department of Defense (DoD) environment.
- Problem solver and troubleshooter who thrives in resolving complex problems.
- Strong self-starter requiring minimal supervision.
- Experience providing quality service and support for mission-critical systems and VIP end users.
- Excellent communication skills (written and oral) and interpersonal skills.
- Superior organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks.
