Your mission, roles and responsibilities

As Plant FES (Faurecia Excellence System) and Productivity Engineer, your key responsibilities will be:

Contribute to the building of the site and departmental improvement plans, using their FES Experience.

• As set within the Site Improvement Plan, support the Management team in the application of FES methodologies and tools through their active participation on the Shop floor thus providing training and coaching to Plant personnel.
• FES Principles and Standards: Managers ensure the correct daily usage of the FES standards; FES Specialists ensure FESstandards are used.
• Transfer their knowledge and experience to Plant personnel through shop floor improvement activities.
• Commitment to the highest ethical standards and willingness to adhere to Faurecia's Code of Ethics and Code of Management.
• Submit/implements at least two Continuous Improvement per month.
• Responsible for the quality of the product.
• Responsible for Health, Safety and Environmental.
• Other tasks assigned according to the position and company needs.
• Leader of implementation and improvements for FES System.

Your profile and competencies to succeed

Experience

• 3- 5 years' experience in a plant or in an industrial environment
• Experience and ability to improve process KPl's within a plant department by using FES principles.

Skills and competencies

• Excellent leadership and people management skills required.
• Operational knowledge of FES toolsand methods (AMDEC, 5 why methodology, job instruction, audits)
• Possesses good communication skills demonstrated by his/her ability to communicate with employees at all levels.
• Must firm understanding of program and project management.
• General knowledge of automotive production plant technologies
• Good interpersonal relationship skills and trainer'sskills
• Fluent in English

Physical Requirements

• Exposed to heat in the summer and cold in the winter.
• Job involves lifting and carrying up to 50 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Ability to monitor machine sounds to identify and diagnose changes to take appropriate action.
• Manual dexterity skills
• Works in, around and beneath equipment
• Steel -toed shoes, safety glasses, gloves, ear protection, and safety anti-cut sleeves required in production area due to physical hazards from moving equipment, machine parts, and product.
