Quality Inspector, MFG, Kimball International - Danville, KY

Responsible for auditing products produced to quality specifications and standards.

 

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Check ticket for appropriate parts.
• Inspect parts for compliance with quality standards and participate in appropriate corrective actions as needed.
• Do detailing as directed for your department.
• Perform product audits as directed.
• Document necessary information.
• Keep workspace and equipment clean and well organized.
• Perform proper preventative maintenance on any equipment being used.
• Follow all safety guidelines.
• Identify potential nonconformities.
• Proactively work with team to eliminate process failures.
• Participate in process improvements to achieve operational excellence.
• Understand, support and execute the achievement of performance measures on scorecards.
• Supports our Vision and Guiding Principles.
• Proactively communicates across the organization business issues and opportunities.
• Provides feedback to team on audit results.

Technical Skills

• Previous manufacturing experience.
• Basic PC Skills
• Understanding of quality specifications and standards and how to apply.
• Previous inspection experience a plus.
