Forklift Operator / Warehouse Labor

The forklift operators are responsible for picking items using roll clamps, large lumber lifts, and regular forklifts. The night shift forklift operator support the operations of three (3) locations within Chambersburg moving, unloading, and loading materials as needed. Products being handled vary by location and include, but not limited to, paper rolls, paper products, lumber, large steel mechanical parts. This position is ideal for individuals who are dependable, able to work with minimal direction, adaptable to changes as they arise, focused on details, and thrives in a high-pressure environment. The forklift operator reports directly to the site supervisor and is a full-time, hourly, non-exempt position that operates in multiple locations based on business needs. 

• Hours of operation: Monday – Friday, 3:30 PM-12:00 AM 
• Pay Rate: $19.75/hour + $1.00/hour shift differential
• Primary Location: Kriner Road, Chambersburg, PA 
• Secondary Locations: WCN Drive and Guilford Springs Rd. Chambersburg, PA 

Primary Job Duties Include:

• Work in a safe manner while maintaining the quality of the product
• Load and unload rail cars, flatbed trucks, and trailers
• Move and stack materials per the company instructions 
• Separate, inspect, and pack product kits per customer instructions 
• Receive and process shipments 
• General housekeeping duties in production areas 
• Comply with and adhere to all safety policies and regulations 
• Perform proper forklift inspections and adhere to all forklift operating guidelines and procedures

Requirements

Experience and Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or Equivalent (preferred) 
• Must be 18 years of age or older 
• 1 year Warehouse Experience (preferred) 
• 1 year Forklift (5k or higher) Experience Required 
• Must be able to lift 25 lbs. unassisted
• Must be able to walk, bend, lift, and sit throughout the duration of the shift
• Must be flexible with working in multiple site locations
• Pre-hire Drug Screening Required
• Background Screening Not Conducted
