CTG is seeking an Epic ClinDoc and Bugsy Analyst to join our team. This role supports inpatient clinical documentation workflows and infection prevention processes by ensuring the Epic system is accurate, efficient, and aligned with clinical and regulatory needs.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain and optimize inpatient clinical documentation tools, including flowsheets, SmartForms, SmartLinks, SmartTexts, and clinical decision support
- Support nursing, therapy, and provider documentation workflows across inpatient units
- Troubleshoot issues related to documentation, orders, charting tools, and workflow routing
- Collaborate with clinical leaders to improve documentation efficiency, accuracy, and compliance
- Participate in testing and validation for upgrades, new features, and workflow changes
- Maintain and enhance Bugsy surveillance rules, alerts, dashboards, and infection prevention workflows
- Support infection prevention teams with case investigation tools, reporting needs, and regulatory workflows
- Ensure accurate configuration of organisms, lab triggers, isolation orders, and surveillance logic
- Assist with public health reporting requirements and quality initiatives related to infection control
- Troubleshoot issues related to surveillance, case management, and infection‑related documentation
- Provide tier‑2/3 support for ClinDoc and Bugsy end‑users, resolving incidents and service requests
- Analyze root causes and implement long‑term solutions to reduce recurring issues
- Collaborate with Epic TS, internal teams, and technical resources for escalated issues
- Communicate effectively with clinical and operational stakeholders to ensure timely resolution
Requirements:
- Epic certification in ClinDoc, Bugsy
- Experience supporting Epic applications in a clinical or IT environment
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with clinical, operational, and technical teams
- Ability to manage multiple priorities across two application areas
