Freeman Primary School is looking for a Midday Supervisor to join the MDSA team to support children at lunchtimes, both in the dining hall and outside.
Freeman Community Primary School is a successful, happy, caring community of 197 children in the village of Stowupland, near Stowmarket. We are part of the Children’s Endeavour Trust as one of seven primary schools across the Stowmarket and Ipswich areas. The Children’s Endeavour Trust allows for opportunities to network with colleagues in different schools to support professional development for all staff across the trust.
You will be responsible for:
supporting children who are eating their lunch and during their playtime inside or outside
ensuring appropriate pupil behaviour during breaks
safeguarding the whole school community.
You will need to:

be good at building relationships with children
have high expectations of children's behaviour
have the ability to work with children from different backgrounds and with different needs
demonstrate a high regard for safeguarding procedures
be calm and confident when dealing with children’s concerns
