This is a remote position.
KATBOTZ LLC is seeking an experienced Senior SAP BASIS Administrator to join our global SAP team. The role requires strong expertise in SAP BASIS administration, S/4HANA, system monitoring, upgrades, performance tuning, and landscape management . The ideal candidate will ensure the stability, performance, and security of SAP systems while supporting large-scale global implementations and operations in a remote setup.
Key Responsibilities- Manage and administer SAP S/4HANA, ECC, BW/4HANA, Solution Manager, PO/PI, Fiori, and other SAP landscapes .
- Perform system installations, upgrades, migrations, and patches (S/4HANA, HANA DB, NetWeaver).
- Monitor system performance, health checks, backups, and disaster recovery .
- Manage user administration, roles, profiles, and authorization concepts .
- Perform transport management, client copies, and system refreshes .
- Support integration of SAP systems with third-party applications .
- Ensure security compliance, audit readiness, and system hardening .
- Collaborate with functional, development, and infrastructure teams to resolve issues.
- Provide 24/7 support (on-call rotation if required) for production systems.
- Stay updated with latest SAP technologies (S/4HANA, Cloud, BTP) .
- Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- 8+ years of SAP BASIS administration experience with 3+ years in SAP S/4HANA and HANA DB .
- Strong expertise in system installation, upgrades, migrations, and performance tuning .
- Hands-on experience in HANA database administration and monitoring.
- Knowledge of SAP security, roles, profiles, and GRC integration .
- Familiarity with SAP Solution Manager (ChaRM, Monitoring, EWA, Diagnostics) .
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently in a remote, multicultural environment .
- SAP Certified Technology Associate – SAP HANA / SAP BASIS / S/4HANA Administration .
- Experience with SAP Cloud (RISE with SAP, SAP BTP, Azure/AWS/GCP hosting) .
- Knowledge of High Availability (HA), DR setups, and clustering .
- Familiarity with Agile/DevOps methodologies and automation tools .
