We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Senior Azure DevOps Engineer to join our cloud infrastructure and platform engineering team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining CI/CD pipelines, cloud infrastructure, and container orchestration platforms that power our enterprise applications at scale.
You will work closely with development, security, and operations teams to drive DevOps best practices, engage with global customers, and continuously improve our delivery capabilities. This role requires strong interpersonal skills, a customer-first mindset, and the flexibility to collaborate across time zones.
· Design, build, and maintain end-to-end CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps (Pipelines, Repos, Artifacts, Boards).
· Architect and manage cloud infrastructure on Microsoft Azure including VNets, AKS, App Services, Storage, Key Vault, and more.
· Write and maintain Terraform modules for infrastructure-as-code (IaC) across multiple environments (dev, staging, production).
· Deploy, manage, and optimize Kubernetes (AKS) clusters including workload scheduling, autoscaling, RBAC, network policies, and monitoring.
· Build, tag, and maintain Docker images; manage container registries (Azure Container Registry) and define best practices for containerization.
· Implement and enforce security best practices including secrets management, RBAC, identity federation, and vulnerability scanning in pipelines.
· Define and maintain branching strategies, release management workflows, and deployment strategies (blue-green, canary, rolling).
· Monitor infrastructure and application health using Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, Prometheus, Grafana, or similar tools.
· Lead and mentor junior and mid-level DevOps engineers; contribute to DevOps culture and capability building.
· Engage with global customers to understand requirements, provide technical guidance, and resolve infrastructure or pipeline issues in a timely and professional manner.
· Collaborate with application and platform teams to identify bottlenecks and improve system reliability, scalability, and performance.
· Participate in incident response, root cause analysis, and post-mortem reviews.
· Evaluate and introduce new tools, technologies, and practices to continuously improve the DevOps lifecycle.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
· 8–10+ years of experience with Azure DevOps (formerly VSTS/TFS).
· Hands on in core Azure services: AKS, Azure Virtual Networks, App Services, Azure SQL, Cosmos DB, Azure Blob Storage, Azure Key Vault, Azure Policy, and Azure Active Directory.
· Experience with Azure cost management, governance, and resource tagging strategies.
· Proficiency with Azure Resource Manager (ARM) and Azure CLI.
· Strong expertise in Azure Pipelines (YAML-based), Azure Repos, Artifacts, and release management.
· Ability to design multi-stage pipelines for complex, multi-environment deployments.
· Experience integrating security and compliance gates within pipelines (shift-left security).
· Hands on experience writing production-grade Terraform configurations.
· Proficiency in writing reusable, modular Terraform code with remote state management (Azure Blob backend).
· Experience with Terraform Cloud / Terraform Enterprise or Atlantis for automated plan and apply workflows.
· Knowledge of Terraform best practices: workspaces, versioning, dependency management, and drift detection.
· Hands on experience with Kubernetes — preferably AKS (Azure Kubernetes Service).
· Understanding of Kubernetes internals: pods, deployments, DaemonSets, StatefulSets, ConfigMaps, Secrets, Ingress, HPA, and Cluster Autoscaler.
· Experience with Helm charts for Kubernetes application packaging and deployment.
· Hands-on experience with Docker — writing optimized Dockerfiles, multi-stage builds, and managing images at scale.
· Familiarity with container security scanning tools (Trivy, Aqua Security, etc.).
Nice to Have (Optional / Good to Have):
· Experience with GitHub Actions for CI/CD workflows.
· Hands-on experience with AWS DevOps — CodePipeline, CodeBuild, CodeDeploy, EKS, ECR, or equivalent AWS services.
· Familiarity with GitOps practices using ArgoCD or Flux .
· Experience with Azure Service Mesh or Istio for microservices communication.
· Knowledge of Ansible or other configuration management tools.
· Exposure to Python , Bash , or PowerShell scripting for automation.
· Experience with multi-cloud setups (Azure + AWS or GCP).

· Relevant certifications may be considered in lieu of formal education where applicable.
