About this role
The IPD Strategy and Research Department mainly studies external policy changes related to Data center infrastructure and the supply chain, responds to the impacts brought by important macro environment and industrial policy changes, anticipates important trends, and provides corresponding strategies, builds a globally competitive Data center infrastructure with good economic performance and high resilience .
Policy research takes geopolitics as the main clue, with industrial policies and supply chain policies of the Data center infrastructure industry under the global geopolitical backdrop as the focal points.
The strategy formulation takes energy as the main line, builds a strategic framework for the energy system, conducts systematic research on the electricity price policies, grid characteristics, green power construction and trading mechanisms in the core regions of global Data center infrastructure, and constructs a combined cost reduction model.
Combining research on energy and geopolitics, conduct research on the site selection strategy for Data center infrastructure in key regions.
Responsibilities: 1. Conduct systematic research on Southeast Asia’s power markets and formulate electricity strategies suitable for the siting and operation of large-scale data centers. 2. Lead research on data center power trading, electricity cost reduction, and compute–power co-optimization, and implement electricity cost-optimization strategies at existing data center sites. 3. Develop medium- to long-term green power strategies for data centers in Southeast Asia and plan phased implementation.
