Job Summary: We are looking for an Automation Engineer to ensure the reliability, and performance of our SaaS platform through automated testing frameworks and continuous quality validation. The role focuses on building, executing, and maintaining automation test suites, analyzing failures, and collaborating closely with engineering teams to enable faster and safer releases.This position is ideal for engineers with a strong foundation in automation concepts, scripting, and Agile delivery models.

Key Responsibilities

QA Automation & Testing

• Develop, execute, and maintain automation test scripts for web and mobile applications.

• Analyze automation test results, identify failures, and report defects with clear reproduction steps.

• Perform regression testing through automation to ensure system stability across releases.

• Ensure automation coverage for critical business workflows and high-impact features.

• Continuously improve automation frameworks and test reliability.

API & Technical Testing

• Perform API automation testing to validate backend services and data flows.

• Understand request/response structures, status codes, and API validations.

• Improve test coverage at the service layer.

Collaboration & Quality Engineering

• Work closely with developers, product managers, and DevOps teams to integrate automation into CI/CD pipelines.

• Align with the automation team to review, update, and optimize shared test cases.

• Proactively identify test gaps, edge cases, and risk areas through automation.

Process & Quality Improvement

• Participate in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.

• Contribute to improving QA processes, automation standards, and documentation.

• Ensure quality benchmarks are met before production deployments.

Skills & Qualifications

• B.Tech / BE or equivalent technical background

• 4-6 years of QA knowledge specifically on automation testing.

• Knowledge on SDLC and STLC 

• Experience on Automation tools/frameworks (e.g., Selenium, TOSCA/BrowserStack/TestSigma/UI Path or any other AI backed ui automation tool)

• Writing automation scripts using Java / Python / JavaScript

• Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and test execution in build environments

• Familiarity with version control systems (Git)
