Marathon TS is seeking an experienced Cloud Networking Engineer to support the Air Force on a mission-critical cloud infrastructure platform. This role is responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining secure and scalable cloud networking solutions within Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) environments.
Responsibilities:
- Design, build, maintain, and optimize Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) networking and cloud environments
- Support migration of legacy systems into secure, scalable cloud architectures
- Implement automation for infrastructure provisioning, configuration management, and deployment pipelines
- Manage and administer Linux-based environments, including Red Hat systems
- Configure and maintain cloud networking components to ensure high availability, security, and performance
- Support disaster recovery, system resilience, and cost optimization initiatives
- Collaborate with development and DevOps teams to support cloud-native architectures and CI/CD pipelines
- Assist with system monitoring, performance tuning, and troubleshooting across cloud platforms
- Ensure compliance with DoD security requirements and accreditation standards
Requirements:
- Linux system administration
- Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) administration
- Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI)
- Oracle Database
- Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform
- Configuration management using Ansible
- CI/CD pipeline tools such as CloudBees Jenkins
- Experience with automation and cloud-native architectures
- Active Secret Clearance required
- CompTIA Security+ or one of the following DoD 8570 baseline certifications: CISSP, CCNA, CAP, CASP+ CE, CCISO, CND, CSSLP, CySA+, GSLC, SSCP
