Integration Engineer (Secret Cleared)

Verigent's client is seeking a talented and detail-oriented Integration Engineer to join their team. You will play a key role in designing, implementing, and managing the integration of diverse systems, applications, and platforms to ensure seamless data flow and operational efficiency.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain integration solutions between internal systems, third-party applications, and cloud platforms
• Develop, deploy, and manage RESTful APIs and SOAP services. Ensure security through proper authentication, authorization, and optimization
• Configure middleware solutions to facilitate data exchange. Transform and map data between source and target systems ensuring accuracy
• Conduct unit and system-level testing. Troubleshoot and resolve integration issues to ensure minimal downtime
• Work closely with developers, sys-admins, and stakeholders to gather requirements and document workflows and technical specifications
• Monitor performance and optimize for speed, reliability, and scalability using proactive logging and monitoring tools

Requirements:

• Active DoD Secret clearance required
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
• 10-15 years of relevant integration experience
• Proficiency in platforms like MuleSoft, Dell Boomi, or Apache Camel
• Hands-on experience with RESTful APIs, SOAP, JSON, and/or XML
• Strong understanding of database systems and SQL
• Familiarity with Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
• Experience with Version Control (Git) and CI/CD pipelines
