Artificial Intelligence Engineer

TekStream Solutions is seeking a highly skilled AI Developer/Architect with Splunk expertise to work with their security solutions team. The role involves developing solutions for the Splunk customer base, translating requirements into designs, and providing technical guidance to junior team members and clients.

Responsibilities:

• You will work with multiple levels of an organization leveraging Claude IDE to develop solutions targeting the Splunk customer base with our security solutions team
• You will translate requirements into designs and leverage various tools to implement including python scripting and prompt engineering as appropriate
• Solutions will cover the full life cycle of Splunk solution ownership from ingestion through operations
• Solutions will leverage advanced LLM driven development tools
• Solutions will extend to complementary security technologies
• Collaborate with internal teams and clients to develop adoption plans
• Provide technical guidance and expertise to junior team members and client stakeholders on solution best practices

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in computer science, computer engineering, cybersecurity, data analytics, or similar
• 7+ years of experience in an IT-related position
• 5+ years scripting or development experience
• Strong Splunk Architect (certification or equivalent knowledge/experience)
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to understand customer requirements and prototype solutions quickly
• Experience with both Linux and Windows, including the Linux command line and tools such as vi
• Strong experience with scripting languages (bash), development languages (Java, Python), and databases
• Proven ability to communicate effectively, across levels of an organization
• A self-starter who can remain motivated when working individually
• Masters Degree in a related field is a plus
• Experience with Splunk Enterprise Security preferred
• Experience with leveraging LLM Developmental tools and Claude IDE
