FGP is a rapidly growing engineering and manufacturing services company that provides high-level automation and technical services. The Field Services / Engineering Sales Manager will focus on driving new customer acquisition and revenue growth for the company’s industrial automation division, working with a team of over 300 field technicians and engineers.
Responsibilities:
- Drive new business development for engineering and automation services
- Identify and secure opportunities with large industrial and manufacturing customers
- Sell services including robotics engineering, PLC programming, controls integration, welding engineering, and maintenance support
- Build relationships with new customers across North America
- Partner with engineering teams to develop solutions for complex manufacturing challenges
- Manage the full sales process from prospecting to contract execution
- Support deployment of 300+ field technicians and engineers on customer projects
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience selling engineering services, industrial automation, or technical solutions
- Strong understanding of robotics, PLCs, controls systems, or automation environments
- Proven success in new business development and revenue generation
- Experience working with large manufacturing or industrial organizations
- Ability to translate technical capabilities into customer solutions
- Willingness to travel to customers and company locations as needed
- Entrepreneurial mindset with a strong hunter mentality
