WorldStrides is the global leader in educational travel and experiential learning. They are seeking an experienced Business Analyst to lead requirements gathering, analysis, and solution design for initiatives that leverage their CRM platform.
Responsibilities:
- Work with business stakeholders (Sales, Marketing, Operations, Customer Service) to identify, document, and prioritize requirements related to CRM capabilities
- Translate business needs into functional and technical specifications, focusing on CRM solutions and integrations with third-party tools
- Serve as the subject matter expert (SME) for platform features, workflows, and capabilities, ensuring solutions align with industry best practices
- Create and maintain comprehensive documentation, including user stories, acceptance criteria, process flows, use cases, and functional specifications
- Act as the primary liaison between business teams and development teams, ensuring clear communication and alignment throughout the project lifecycle
- Lead and participate in Agile ceremonies, such as sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives, ensuring timely delivery of enhancements
- Define and execute test cases for new features and integrations. Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) with stakeholders
- Collaborate with business leaders and training teams to ensure smooth adoption of new platform capabilities
- Analyze system performance and user feedback to identify areas for optimization and process improvement
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in business, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent experience
- 7+ years of business analysis experience, with at least 5 years focused on CRM implementations
- Business Analyst certification (required)
- Proficiency with core CRM products
- Experience with automation tools, workflow management, and reporting/dashboard capabilities
- Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies and proficiency with Jira or similar tools
- Strong analytical skills, with experience in creating process flows, ERDs, and wireframes using tools like Lucidchart, Visio, or similar
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with a proven ability to present complex concepts to non-technical stakeholders
- Familiarity with UX/UI principles and how they impact user stories and requirements
- Knowledge of SQL, RESTful APIs, and software development concepts to better collaborate with engineering teams
- Proven track record of managing complex projects with multiple stakeholders and conflicting priorities
- Knowledge of SQL and the ability to perform basic data queries to support analysis
- Project Management experience or certifications (e.g., PMP, Agile Certified Practitioner)
- Experience in the educational travel industry or a similar customer-centric sector
- Knowledge of third-party integrations, such as payment processing, marketing automation tools, and ERP systems
- Hands-on experience with data migration, API integrations, and platform enhancements
- Familiarity with marketing platforms like HubSpot or other marketing automation platforms
