Nuvia Dental Implant Center is seeking a Data Science Engineer who will play a critical role in maintaining, scaling, and improving the company's data infrastructure and systems. The individual will lead complex data initiatives, ensuring seamless data architecture and high-performance querying.
Responsibilities:
- Design, maintain, and optimize data architecture to support business operations and analytics
- Write and manage large, efficient SQL queries across varied datasets
- Build and maintain Python scripts and pipelines to support data transformations, reporting, and machine learning workflows
- Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, operations, marketing, and leadership to ensure accurate and accessible data
- Monitor data systems to ensure integrity, uptime, and scalability
- Implement data best practices, including version control, testing, and documentation
- Provide guidance on causality, correlation, and data-driven insights that inform business decisions
- Stay current with trends in AI, LLMs, and modern data tools to enhance capabilities
Requirements:
- U.S.-based and available during standard working hours (with flexibility for cross-team collaboration)
- 3+ years of experience in data engineering or data science roles or advanced data analytics
- Advanced proficiency in SQL (required)
- Basic python knowledge (required)
- ML/AI understanding should be something you are constantly learning more about
- Ability to translate data into clear business recommendations
- Able to work independently and collaboratively in a remote environment
