Director of Finance & Business Analytics

GoShare is a logistics company focused on modernizing delivery through advanced technology. They are seeking a Director of Finance & Business Analytics to lead financial oversight, forecasting, and marketplace intelligence, while supervising accounting and ensuring compliance across their driver network.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee accurate monthly reporting, the close process, and supervise in-house accounting staff
• Lead annual budgeting and rolling forecasts tied to operational metrics
• Build analytical visibility into pricing, driver density, and market performance to improve contribution margins
• Monitor driver compliance metrics across states and support quarterly board reporting
• Supervise the in-house accountant responsible for A/P, A/R, and G/L
• Review monthly financial statements and ensure a disciplined, timely close process
• Improve integration between operational and financial systems to reduce manual processes and enhance dashboard clarity
• Build and maintain integrated, dynamic financial models in Excel
• Conduct scenario analysis around pricing, demand, supply density, and cost structures
• Prepare materials for executive leadership and quarterly board meetings
• Pull and analyze data directly from SQL databases to evaluate market performance
• Analyze pricing performance within aggregator-tier environments
• Identify margin leakage and develop visibility into driver compliance exposure by state
