Schneider is seeking a Director of Commercial Solutions in Baltimore to represent and provide strategic leadership, guidance and strategic plans that lead business development efforts for the commercial team. The Director of Commercial Solutions will act as a subject matter expert while developing new business and ensuring customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
- Create and execute the line of service go-to-market strategy.
- Integrate and collaborate effectively with lines of business and other enterprise stakeholders.
- Develop a deep knowledge of the customers they support, as well as the collective customer base.
- Develop, write and present the value proposition for Schneider’s services to potential new business.
- Conduct business reviews and account plans with customers.
- Manage customers’ key performance indicators and develop and coordinate corrective action plans as necessary.
- Coordinate the development of client solutions with the solution design team, relationship managers and the line of business owners.
- Be responsible for the creation of and fostering of innovative ideas to meet marketplace needs.
Skills and qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, logistics or related field required.
- At least five years of transportation or logistics experience required.
- Experience in commercial roles within logistics, transportation or supply chain.
- Experience acquiring new business.
- Background working cross-functionally with solution design/engineering, operations, product owners, lines of service leaders and marketing.
