ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:
Orientation and Training - Start each day with a training session, familiarizing themselves with the team, their duties and areas of expertise.
Knowledge and Procedures – Intern will be teamed up with an area expert to experience the job duties in that area; examples may be assisting leadership in front of the house duties or culinary/kitchen duties
Rotation Through Department – Interns will rotate through different areas, learning the specific responsibilities of the areas.
Guest Service – Intern will learn the importance of guest service in the hospitality industry – with the WIN model.
Learning and Development – Throughout the experience, the intern will have the opportunities to gain practical experience and insights into Food and Beverage operations. Learning how both areas play a part in the growth of the Resort.
Attendance – Maintaining a consistent, regular attendance record is important for this program.

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:

AGE and GAMING:
18 years of age or above.
Gaming property – Must be able to obtain and maintain a gaming license issued by the Choctaw Gaming Commission.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
High School diploma or GED is required. Must be entering Sophomore, Junior or Senior year in college for current semester or recently graduated from college, documentation must be provided.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an associate to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
Essential duties for this position include but not limited to the following: able to stand/walk 100% of assigned shift. Safely lift and/or move up to fifty (50) pounds on occasions as well to stand and talk for periods in excess of 8 hours. Repetitive bending, kneeling, stooping, pushing and pulling will be required throughout shift.
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an associate encounters while performing the essential functions of this job.
The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. When on the casino floor, the noise level increases to loud. When on the casino floor or other designated areas may be subjected to tobacco smoke.
Due to the unpredictable nature of the hospitality/entertainment industry, Associates must be able to work varying-schedules to reflect the business needs of the property.
