What You’ll Do (Your Impact)

- Deliver Reliable, Secure, and Scalable Platforms with minimal unplanned downtime and strong performance metrics.
- Drive Modern Engineering Practices including AI‑assisted development, DevOps maturity, automation, and continuous improvement.
- Shape Engineering Frameworks by creating and maintaining best practices, patterns, and standards aligned with industry trends.
- Align Technical Roadmaps to Summit’s long‑term strategic technology vision and enterprise priorities.
- Enhance Member & Employee Experiences through thoughtful solution design, system optimization, and usability improvements.
- Promote Agile & DevOps Excellence ensuring predictable delivery, continuous improvement, and strong operational discipline.
What You Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 7+ years of progressive experience in application development, systems engineering, or enterprise application support in a regulated environment, including 3+ years in a leadership role.
- Proven experience managing software development lifecycles, application support models, and cross‑functional technical teams.
- Strong technical acumen in modern development frameworks, system integrations, cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud), and DevOps tools.
- Experience with AI‑assisted development and the ability to lead teams adopting AI tools and workflows.
- Expertise with Agile delivery and building consistent engineering standards, processes, and performance metrics.
- Ability to balance strategic planning with operational execution in a fast‑paced financial services environment.
- Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and decision‑making skills with the ability to manage risk and prioritize effectively.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to translate complex technical concepts for business stakeholders.
