Inbound Supervisor - 1st Shift

 

 

Join Arvato as an Inbound Supervisor - 1st shift and take charge of leading our Pick/Pack/Ship operations to ensure timely, accurate, and high-quality order fulfillment. In this role, you’ll manage labor and equipment, oversee receiving and material transfers, and collaborate with the control tower to optimize workflows and meet customer requirements. YOUR TASKS

• Supervise and manage the labor and equipment of the Pick/Pack/Ship operation.
• Ensure on-time completion and maintain the quality of orders to meet customer requirements.  
• Collaborate with the control tower on labor management and order prioritization. You will oversee direct shipping, pick, pack, and traffic. 
• Supervise and coordinate the activities of employees.  
• Receiving of materials. 
• Transferring of materials. 
• Hire and ensure proper training of new employees for the picking, packing, and shipping departments. 
• Ensure proper procedures are adhered to and up to date for the control tower for current and new customers. 
• Performance management of all employees (KPI’s). 
• Document, update, and ensure procedures and quality processes are followed. 
• Maintain supplies and equipment levels for the department. 
• Monitor and adhere to customer requests and vendor-specific shipping requirements. 
• Update and maintain Kronos and Metrics in Excel, as it relates to WMS reporting. 
• Monitor picking, packing, and shipping functions on the floor. 
• Ensure that shift-end specific procedures with all shipping systems are completed, and floor-end-of-shift close-out procedures are followed. 

YOUR PROFILE

• SAP or WMS experience
• At least 2 years of experience leading teams of 10 or more direct reports in a manufacturing or distribution environment
• Bachelor’s Degree or 5+ years of experience in a warehouse environment
• Knowledge of traffic coordinating
• Experience handling a large volume of orders
• Excellent skills in mathematics
• Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems
• APICS Certified in Production and Inventory Management

• Work Schedule: 5:00 am to 1:30 pm PST; ability to work overtime as needed
