Trade Centre Manager (Full Time - Invercargill)

We’re excited to be recruiting a driven and customer‑focused Trade Centre Manager to lead our Invercargill Trade Centre. If you’re passionate about delivering customer service, developing high‑performing teams and taking ownership of a thriving trade operation, this is your opportunity to make a real impact.

This is a rewarding leadership role where you’ll run the Trade Centre as if it were your own - shaping culture, driving performance, and becoming a trusted partner to customers across the region.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver an exceptional customer experience by overseeing all aspects of sales and daily operations
• Lead, coach and develop a high‑performing team of Trade Sales Assistants, including recruitment, onboarding, training and ongoing development
• Drive sustainable sales growth while managing operational efficiencies
• Build strong relationships with a diverse customer base and the local community, positioning us as the region’s go‑to source of industrial expertise
• Maintain strong standards of merchandising and store presentation for a seamless customer experience
• Ensure best practice in inventory management, maintaining accurate stock levels and records
• Work collaboratively with the wider sales teams and departments to support the success of the region and the broader business

Our Ideal Candidate

• Minimum 2 years’ experience managing a medium‑to‑large retail, sales or trade‑based operation
• An organised, energetic and people‑focused leader who can inspire a great team culture
• Strong communication, leadership and relationship‑building skills, supported by initiative and a positive, “can‑do” attitude
• A champion of operational excellence and continuous improvement
• Ability to work under pressure, juggle competing priorities and meet tight deadlines
• Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills
• Solid understanding of health and safety practices and procedures
