We are recruiting an IT Support Analyst to join our second line team to provide exceptional desk-side customer service to users in our Johannesburg office and service to other offices as required. This is initially offered on a fixed term contract until September 20226 as a maternity cover. 

This role will be responsible for ensuring the smooth running and maintenance of all IT related hardware and systems on a daily basis. This can range from configuring laptops and mobile phones to resolving system or software issues.  The role will also facilitate involvement in a number of project rollouts designed to bring transformational change across our business. 

This role will be office based out of our Johannesburg office with the role being a 5 day a week on site position and our standard hours of work are 37.5 hours per week Monday to Friday, working shifts, between the hours of 08:00 to 18:00. Some out of hours & weekend work may also be required.  

 

Tasks  

• Responsible for ensuring the smooth running and maintenance of all IT related hardware and systems on a daily basis: 

• Provide remote or deskside support to ensure quick resolution of all technical issues in Johannesburg, from Partner to student.  

• Configure, update, support laptops and mobile phones 

• resolving system or software issues, including conference rooms 

• Lead the IT Onboarding and Offboarding of new joiners and leavers. Making sure they receive the best employee service and are trained and well-equipped to do their jobs. 

• Work hand in hand with the other Business Operations teams Workplace Management, HR, Finance and Business Development to ensure smooth Operations and best service for the lawyers.  

• Involvement in a number of project rollouts designed to bring transformational change across our business 

Requirements 

We are looking for candidates who ideally hold the following skills and experience:  

• Experienced in a customer facing IT support role, ideally in a corporate environment. 

• Able to demonstrate exceptional customer service skills and deal with stakeholders at all levels of the business. 

• Ability to troubleshoot issues with Windows 10/11, Office 2016+, Microsoft 365, laptops, iPhones, iPads, printers and networking devices. 

• Comfortable using ticket management and service management systems. 

• Show a desire to continue to develop technical skill set.
