The Senior Software Engineer will act as the technical bridge between our core engineering products and our global client base. This role is perfect for a developer who enjoys high-stakes problem solving, architectural debugging, and working closely with Client Success teams to ensure our platforms perform at scale. You will not just "support" the product; you will own its reliability and influence its roadmap.

Candidates should be comfortable working a shift of 5:30 PM – 2:30 AM IST.

Responsibilities:

• Serve as the primary technical authority for the Client Success team who would assist Client Success team with client related queries.
• Proactively monitor, debug, and resolve revenue-impacting issues within high-performance RESTful web services and distributed systems.
• Lead the troubleshooting of web and mobile application issues, ensuring minimal downtime and maximum security.
• Manage and optimize eligibility file processing and system monitoring to ensure data integrity.
• Partner with US-based support and engineering teams to provide seamless maximum coverage and architectural alignment.
• Participate in design and code reviews, ensuring that hotfixes and patches meet our high standards for scalability and performance.
• This role requires alignment with US business hours (Shift timing: 1730 to 0230).
• This is a Remote-First position, offering the flexibility to work from home.

Requirements

• 5+ years of backend experience with server-side languages (e.g. Javascript, Typescript, Node) and frontend framework (e.g. React)
• AWS Certified Developer/Solution Architect - Big Advantage
• Experience with database programming and performance (e.g. SQL, MongoDB)
• Strong understanding of microservices, event-driven architectures, serverless and container technologies (Lambda, Docker), and container orchestration platforms such as Kubernetes, OpenShift, or equivalent
• Experience in designing and implementing large, scalable distributed systems
• Ability to architect, design and develop complex systems
• Should have very strong analytical and debugging skills.
• Mastery of software engineering principles and best practices.
• Expert level knowledge of cloud computing platforms and technologies
• Strong experience with creating REST and RESTful services
• Proficient in system monitoring and observability tools.
• Ability to lead architectural reviews and provide technical guidance.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
