Sr Staff Engineer Electrical Engineering

John Deere is a company focused on tackling global challenges related to food, fiber, and infrastructure as the world population grows. They are seeking a Sr Staff Engineer in Electrical Engineering to lead the Electrical Engineering Competency, oversee capital investments, and develop technical strategies for the enterprise.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the Electrical Engineering Competency for the John Deere enterprise
• Oversee significant capital investments, JDHS Safety Programs Technical Expert, Write Electrical Engineering Standards, and provide Technical Strategy Solutions for the John Deere Enterprise

Requirements:

• Minimum 5 Years of Electrical Engineering / Project Experience
• Professional Engineer with an active license
• Experience with High Voltage Power Distribution Systems
• Good Understanding of Electrical Codes and Requirements in the US
• BS in Electrical Engineering
• Candidates located within 100 miles of Moline, IL, or another John Deere facility are preferred
• Masters in Electrical Engineering
• Good Understanding of Electrical Codes Globally
