Senior Landscape Designer/Project Manager - Landscape Architect

Metric Engineering is looking for a capable, motivated project manager to help shape vibrant, resilient places across Florida. In this dynamic role, you'll take the lead and support others on meaningful public and private sector projects, bringing creativity and technical expertise to every project.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and support projects from concept to construction documents and into post design services
• Manage all aspects of a project from working with clients to developing conceptual designs and graphics, construction documents, invoicing and construction observation
• Apply your technical expertise to create landscape designs that address client needs, respond thoughtfully to site‑specific conditions, meet all permitting requirements, and result in buildable, maintainable solutions
• Prepare plans, details, and graphics using AutoCAD, Land F/X, and Photoshop
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams
• Support RFIs, submittals, and site observations
• Advise and provide support to other staff

Requirements:

• Accredited degree or qualifying experience under a licensed Landscape Architect
• 10+ years of experience with Florida projects
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Land F/X, Microsoft Office, Photoshop
• Ability to interpret and apply municipal codes to projects
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Presentation skills
• Ability to problem solve, adapt to client needs, and work independently as well as cooperatively
• Experience with Lumion and InDesign
• Familiarity with FDOT landscape architecture projects
• Irrigation design
• Landscape Architecture license is not required, ability to obtain one is a plus
