About this role

Quantum World Technologies Inc. is seeking a Lead DevOps Engineer to design, implement, and manage scalable cloud infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform (GCP). The role involves leading DevOps practices, ensuring platform reliability, and guiding the team to deliver secure and high-performing solutions.

Responsibilities:

Architect and manage GCP cloud infrastructure for enterprise applications
Design and implement CI/CD pipelines for automated deployments
Lead containerization and orchestration using Kubernetes (GKE)
Implement infrastructure as code (IaC) with Terraform or equivalent tools
Ensure observability through monitoring, logging, and alerting frameworks
Drive security, compliance, and governance across cloud environments
Mentor and guide DevOps engineers, fostering best practices and continuous improvement

Requirements:

Strong expertise in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services
Hands on experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, etc.)
Proficiency in Kubernetes (GKE) and containerization (Docker)
Experience with Terraform or other IaC frameworks
Knowledge of monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, Stackdriver)
Strong scripting skills (Python, Bash, or equivalent)
Solid understanding of cloud security and compliance frameworks
Experience in multi cloud or hybrid cloud environments
Familiarity with service mesh (Istio, Linkerd) and advanced orchestration
Exposure to DevSecOps practices
Leadership experience in guiding cross functional DevOps teams
