Site Reliability Engineer

Mitchell Martin Inc. is seeking a Site Reliability Engineer to join a dynamic team in a remote setting based in the Detroit, MI area. This contract role focuses on maintaining the reliability and performance of multi-cloud environments, automating infrastructure, and supporting cloud platforms using generic technology tools.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure the reliability and performance of cloud platforms across various environments
• Build and maintain infrastructure using generic infrastructure tools and best practices
• Implement and support automation pipelines using generic automation tools
• Develop automation and reliability tools using a generic scripting language
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and respond to incidents, ensuring long-term fixes

Requirements:

• Experience supporting cloud environments in a reliability-focused role
• Strong experience with infrastructure automation tools
• Proficiency in scripting languages for automation tasks
• Understanding of cloud networking, security, and identity concepts
• Experience with production systems in a reliability-focused role
