Trajectory Recruiting is seeking a high-caliber Project Manager to support a critical Private Markets project within a massive enterprise Data and Technology Modernization Initiative. This role involves overseeing the implementation of data and technology for pre-investment activities across major asset classes including Private Equity, Private Debt, Real Estate, and Infrastructure.
Responsibilities:
- Project Execution: Support the leadership team with operational and analytical tasks to push forward initiative goals using Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid methodologies
- Vendor & Integration Governance: Foster collaboration across cross-functional teams, including implementation partners and platform providers, to ensure seamless execution and resolve dependencies
- Stakeholder Management: Facilitate alignment workshops and feedback sessions to gauge expectations and incorporate refinements into the project plan
- Resource & Financial Oversight: Monitor resource burn rates, capacity concerns, and budget usage trends to proactively flag inefficiencies or potential delays
- Risk & Issue Management: Maintain a risk and issues log, update mitigation strategies, and perform root cause analyses for recurring issues
- Change Management: Maintain communications and change management plans while conducting stakeholder surveys or focus groups to address resistance and ensure adoption
- Business Analysis: Partner with SMEs to review, validate, and draft business and functional requirements to ensure clarity and alignment with target-state objectives
Requirements:
- 7+ years of experience supporting the execution of large-scale, cross-functional initiatives with a demonstrated record of successful delivery
- 6+ years of experience supporting or working within private markets environments (Private Equity, Private Debt, Real Estate, and/or Infrastructure)
- 6+ years of experience supporting multi-module, multi-system implementations or complex transformation initiatives
- 6+ years of experience collaborating with cross-functional teams, including business users, technology teams, and vendors
- 6+ years of experience preparing project documentation, including requirements, process maps, RAID logs, and change artifacts
- 6+ years of experience monitoring project milestones, deliverables, and risks to provide actionable recommendations
- Certifications: PMP, PRINCE2, Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP), or Change Management (Prosci, CCMP)
- Specialized Expertise: Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) or Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst (CAIA) designation
- Platform Familiarity: Experience with tools such as SimCorp, MSCI Burgiss, Deal Cloud, Chronograph, or Dynamo Investments
- Technical Tools: Proficiency in Jira, Tableau, or Power BI to provide real-time transparency into project health
