NorthITE is seeking a senior-level AI Technical Consultant to lead architecture and technical execution for enterprise cloud and modern software engineering initiatives. This role combines deep technical expertise with consulting discipline, focusing on scalable, secure, and production-grade solutions across Azure, AWS, and GCP environments.
Responsibilities:
- Define and lead cloud architecture strategies across Azure, AWS, and/or GCP
- Design scalable, secure, and resilient systems aligned to enterprise standards
- Lead modernization initiatives including re-platforming, containerization, and performance optimization
- Establish reference architectures and reusable solution patterns
- Implement Infrastructure-as-Code and standardized CI/CD frameworks
- Define DevOps and operational reliability standards
- Conduct architecture reviews and enforce engineering quality benchmarks
- Ensure compliance with security, governance, and cost management policies
- Identify and mitigate technical risks across engagements
- Introduce structured, responsible use of AI-assisted development tools where appropriate
- Drive automation and workflow optimization to improve engineering productivity
- Establish measurable engineering performance standards
- Support teams in adopting modern, efficient development practices
Requirements:
- 10+ years of experience in software engineering, cloud architecture, or technical consulting
- Demonstrated expertise in at least one major cloud platform (Azure, AWS, or GCP)
- Proven experience designing enterprise-scale cloud-native architectures
- Strong background in DevOps, CI/CD, and Infrastructure-as-Code
- Proficiency in modern programming ecosystems (e.g., Python, Java, C#, Node.js)
- Experience operating in consulting or client-facing environments
- Strong understanding of cloud security architecture and governance frameworks
- Advanced cloud certifications (Azure Solutions Architect, AWS Solutions Architect, etc.)
- Experience supporting regulated or enterprise environments
- Familiarity with AI-assisted development workflows
- Experience contributing to pre-sales or technical solutioning efforts
