Akkodis is a company seeking an Associate Business Analyst for a 100% remote position. The role involves gathering requirements, translating business rules into technical requirements, and communicating effectively with stakeholders.
Responsibilities:
- Working knowledge of SQL - The candidate would ideally have enough familiarity to understand query logic, data structures, and work effectively with developers in a data-heavy environment, but does not need to be an expert. Pseudocode proficiency is also acceptable
- Requirements gathering and critical thinking - the ability to translate vague or sometimes complex business rules into clear, actionable technical requirements. The ideal candidate should be comfortable asking clarifying questions and identifying dependencies or edge cases early
- Communication and stakeholder management - the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders, confidence in pushing back diplomatically, comfort in facilitating meetings and aligning multiple teams
- Attention to detail and process discipline - given the legal and compliance aspect of our work, we'd hope the candidate would be able to notice inconsistencies quickly, double-check assumptions, writes requirements precisely
