Senior Financial Data Analyst - Healthcare

VillageCare is a community-based, not-for-profit organization serving people with chronic care needs. As a Senior Financial Data Analyst, you will enhance the Finance department's reporting capabilities by developing customized reports and dashboards, automating regulatory reports, and supporting financial statement completion.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain customized reports and dashboards using SQL, Tableau, and RedShift
• Collaborate closely with the IT department to automate reports for efficient metric monitoring
• Design and develop dashboards while creating member economics reports that empower leadership in strategic business decisions
• Automate regulatory reports for the New York State Department of Health and CMS
• Lead the medical claims reinsurance reporting and reconciliation process
• Support the completion of monthly and quarterly provider group financial statements
• Document reporting rules in partnership with the provider team and manager
• Tackle various ad hoc requests that arise

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Healthcare, Finance or relevant field or equivalent years of experience required
• Minimum 5 years of relevant professional work experience
• Ability to perform complex data analysis and report/dashboard development in a health care setting
• Capacity to multi-task at high detail-oriented level
• Strong communication skills (verbal, written, presentation, interpersonal)
• Strong analytical and logical skills paired with strong attention to detail
• MUST LIVE IN NJ/NY/CT
