In this role, you will own the lifecycle of the network, from initial design to troubleshooting, while ensuring secure and optimized connectivity for a remote-first workforce.
Responsibilities:
- Design and manage our Palo Alto (NGFW) environment
- Manage Panorama, Threat Prevention profiles, and complex VPN tunnels
- Use Junos OS to master BGP, dynamic routing, and traffic optimization
- Administer our Dell switching fabric, ensuring rock-solid VLAN management, LACP, and STP across the core and access layers
- Lead hardware migrations, capacity planning, and firmware lifecycle management
- Utilize enterprise-grade monitoring tools to stay ahead of the curve, acting as the final escalation point for the most challenging network puzzles
Requirements:
- 3–5+ years of 'in the trenches' experience in medium-to-large enterprise or cloud environments
- Deep familiarity with Palo Alto and security policy orchestration
- High proficiency in Junos OS CLI and routing protocol troubleshooting
- Proven track record managing enterprise-grade Dell switches
- A 'source code' level understanding of the OSI/TCP-IP models, IPv4/IPv6, DNS, and DHCP
- U.S. Citizenship is required for this role
- Bachelor degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering
- Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States without the need for visa sponsorship now or in the future
- Certifications: PCNSE, JNCIS-ENT, or CCNP
