Data Scientist, Level 4

Independent Software, Inc. is focused on applying advanced data science techniques to national security challenges. As a Data Scientist Level 4, you will leverage your expertise to transform complex datasets into actionable intelligence and develop analytical tools to support decision making.

Responsibilities:

• Apply expertise across multiple data science domains including mathematical, statistical, and computational foundations
• Perform data curation, transformation, visualization, and automation of analytical workflows
• Develop reproducible analytics and optimize inefficient processes and data pipelines
• Analyze large, complex datasets and draw meaningful conclusions using mathematical, statistical, and domain expertise
• Develop analytic models and quantitative techniques for unstructured or incomplete datasets
• Perform statistical modeling, inference, forecasting, and predictive analytics
• Translate mission and analytical requirements into technical data specifications
• Develop tools and visualizations that clearly communicate analytical findings and support operational decision making
• Effectively convey complex technical concepts and analytical results to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Leverage experience with SIGINT datasets, RF data, or PROFORMA data to enhance mission analysis and capabilities
