Samay Consulting is seeking an experienced Oracle Fusion Grants Business Analyst to join a large, complex higher education institution. This techno-functional role serves as a key liaison between Grants Research, Student Finance, and Financial business users, ensuring Oracle Cloud PPM and AR solutions are configured and maintained according to research policies and operational goals.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary functional expert for Oracle Cloud PPM, Grants, and AR modules, supporting configuration, data integrity, testing, and ongoing maintenance
- Partner with Grants Research, Student Finance, and Financials business users to analyze processes, gather requirements, and translate them into scalable Oracle Cloud solutions
- Act as the key liaison between business stakeholders, IT technical teams, and Oracle Support to resolve issues, manage enhancements, and drive system improvements
- Design, configure, and test Oracle Cloud PPM and AR solutions that support efficient, compliant, and scalable business operations
- Support regression testing, data validation, and issue triage across core ERP functions
- Develop and maintain reports and extracts using OTBI, BI Publisher, BI Cloud Connect, and PPM Extracts and Integration
- Ensure solutions comply with institutional research policies, regulatory requirements, and financial standards
- Support integrations between Oracle Cloud ERP and boundary systems
- Participate in onsite collaboration with campus stakeholders as needed, typically 1 to 3 days per month
Requirements:
- 5 or more years of hands-on Oracle Cloud ERP experience with demonstrated expertise in PPM, Grants, and AR modules in a higher education environment
- Demonstrated experience as a senior resource in defining systems strategy, gathering and documenting business requirements, leading fit-gap analysis, as-is and to-be process design, conference room pilots, functional configuration, testing, and end-user training
